1447 2nd Street - This 4-story in-fill building uses large expanses of glass to take advantage of the Pacific Ocean views to the west and maximize natural light. The decks are in response to the cities zoning requirements and create an interesting interaction between the building and street. Use of metal railings and canopies are tie-in to the adjacent parking structure.
1149 3rd Street - Designed on a transition lot between a residential and commercial district, this 9,000 square foot office building was articulated to blend in with the residential neighborhood to the north. It's use of smaller massing elements, stepped balconies, vaulted roof lines and soft colors make the transition from commercial to residential.
301 Arizona - RTK successfully phased the 22,000 square foot expansion and remodel to allow for continued operation of the building during construction. RTK worked closely with the tenant's architect to integrate the design and space requirements of a new ground floor and 2nd floor retail tenant in conjunction with Leclere Architects.
