2003 Project of the YearHacienda del Mar - 1525 Euclid – RTK awarded 2003 Project of the Year

RTK was awarded the 2003 Project of the Year - Special Needs Category, from the Southern California Association of Non-Profit Housing for our affordable housing for disabled in a historic building.

This is an affordable housing project designed for total handicapped accessibility within the shell of a historic building. Originally built as the Santa Monica Health Center in 1928, it is the oldest, extant, government-constructed building in Santa Monica .

The building was determined to be eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places by consensus in 1994, and is therefore listed in the California Register of Historical Resources.

Sailhouse LoftsSailhouse Lofts

Ground breaking took place last February 17, 2004 on this 21 unit live/work complex – two of the units are also dedicated for affordable housing. A vacant lot for years, this will be in-filled with a bold mix of retail and residential spaces. Special detail was taken to address neighborhood concerns resulting in a melding of scale, proportion, circulation and views. This 45,000 square foot building will be a great addition to this seaside community by creating a gateway between the cities of Santa Monica and Venice .

219 California

Approved by City of Santa Monica Architectural Review Board (ARB), this 3-unit condominium complex sits only two blocks from Palisades Park overlooking the Pacific Ocean . This project was designed for a private developer/owner.

The project is designed to incorporate green building standards and take advantage of the local climate.

Anaheim Center

This project is one of several that RTK is doing with CIM Group, LLC. It is part of an overall redevelopment project consisting of several buildings in downtown Anaheim . The imagery is dictated by the local community’s wish to work closely with the historical fabric of Anaheim and the adjacent Carnegie Annex Library / Museum. The project is 5 stories and contains 64 residential units above a podium 20,000 square feet of retail.

Episode 3 / The Cox Family – Le Ann Rimes helped this home get an "extreme makeover."

Episode 6 / The Harris Family - "Sweet" Alice never thought her house would be flooded in a hail storm, and she certainly never thought her home would get an Extreme Makeover!
